You only don’t have to edit if it’s just one shot, like a YouTube vlog. You have to cut out the parts that are boring or aren’t part of a story. Even with an animated film, they still have to render each scene and put them in order. For example, when you watch a movie, most aren’t actually shot in order. Without editing, most things you watch would be really boring or make no sense at all. However, editing has grown over the years from just putting the shots you want in order. Editing in its purest form is taking the pieces of media from whatever you’ve produced and putting them all together in a sequence so you have something to watch.
