Alongside making the pre-load possible, People Can Fly also posted an updated set of PC minimum and recommended specs. The pre-load is not coming to the Epic Games Store, but both PC versions have the same launch time. Demo progress carries over to the full game on the same platform, as previously stated. People Can Fly confirmed that you'll be able to re-download the demo after the pre-load is done, should you like to continue playing.
One thing to keep in mind, however, is that your demo install will disappear once you start the full game pre-load. This also, of course, goes for those who bought keys from third-party sites, so long as they've already redeemed them. The Outriders pre-load has gone live on Steam for players who pre-ordered the game.

Last week, Outriders developer People Can Fly said that it's looking into the possibility of offering a pre-load on Steam, despite confirming it for consoles. Outriders is now available to pre-load on Steam.
